Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring Full-time Flex Houseparents for couples who will live on campus and care for a group of 8–13 students. The two-person role emphasizes mentorship, structure, and student wellbeing in a family-like environment.

Initial duties cover nine days on, followed by three off, with future transition to a placed home with the same group of students. Competitive benefits, housing, and training are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Married couple required for the two-person role.
• Spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• No smoking, weapons, or alcohol on duty; campus is smoke-free.
• Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to a group of 8–13 students in on-campus homes.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and support student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
