Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person team) to reside in on-campus student homes and supervise groups of 8–13 students. The role includes mentorship, scheduling, and supporting academic, emotional, and social development in a structured, family-like environment.

The position offers a nine-on/three-off rotation, opportunities to lead activities, and transition to a placed houseparent.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth or volunteering with youth.
• Two-spouse role; married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
