Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents for a married couple. You will live in on-campus student homes, supervise a group of 8–13 students, and provide care, guidance, and support to foster academic, emotional, and social growth.

The role features a nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with transition to a Placed Houseparent for continued student home responsibility. Compensation includes housing, meals, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role, married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany Sunday Chapel.
