Job summary

Milton Hershey School is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and mentor 8-13 students, providing supervision, guidance, and structure that supports academic, emotional, and social growth.

Positions start with a nine-on/three-off schedule; later transitioning to a placed role living with the same group. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement options, paid training, relocation assistance, and paid time

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-year married couple required.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
