Endurance Home Care is hiring experienced live-in caregivers in the Danbury, CT area. Per diem positions with 3, 4, and 7 day live-in schedules. We prioritize caregivers who drive and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities include companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, safety supervision, and assisting with activities of daily living. Must have 3+ years of professional caregiving experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to commute within Fairfield County.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional caregiving experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive.
• Willingness to commute within Fairfield County, CT.
• Legally authorized to work within the United States.
• Ability to lift significant weight and assist in transferring clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and social interaction with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping.
• Supervise safety and assist with safe mobility to prevent falls.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Transport clients to errands and appointments.
• Reminders for medications and help with prescriptions.
• Follow care plans and report health status to the Care Team.
• Facilitate medical appointments and related health activities.
• Attend monthly in-service trainings.
