Home Matters is seeking a compassionate caregiver to join our caregiver-first family culture in the Greater Pittsburgh area. This role focuses on purpose-driven care that enhances clients’ lives while supporting daily living activities and companionship.

Caregivers will work 24-hour shifts with sleep time for 3 or 4 consecutive days and rotate with a second caregiver, with opportunities for growth and a warm, family-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of prior caregiving experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Background check and references required.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care and companionship.
• Assist with activities of daily living (dressing, grooming, meal prep).

• Assist our clients with daily living activities, such as dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.

• Run errands: Grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, and other small outings.
• Maintain client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.
• Regularly communicate with our care coordination team about client updates or concerns.
• Other Non-medical home care services as needed.
• Your shift will be 24 hrs and include sleep time for 3 or 4 consecutive days
• You will rotate with a 2nd caregiver.
