Qualifications

• Previous experience in home health care or long-term care.
• CPR/First aid certification.
• Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities.
• Excellent observation and documentation of care.
• Ability to lift and assist mobility.
• Familiarity with care plans and medication administration protocols.
• Excellent communication with clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility support.
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications per care plans.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning.
• Maintain a clean and safe home with light housekeeping.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities.
• Observe changes and report to healthcare professionals.
• Support memory care for Alzheimer’s or dementia.
• Use Hoyer lifts for safe transfers when necessary.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality.
