Guardian Angel Senior Services – Springfield, MA is seeking dedicated Live-In Caregivers to support elderly and disabled clients in their homes throughout Massachusetts. A CNA or HHA certification is required, with reliable, compassionate care and strong English communication skills.

The role includes personal care, mobility assistance, medication reminders, companionship, and light housekeeping. Live-in assignments range from 3 to 30 days, with a 24-hour schedule that emphasizes client safety

Qualifications

• Current HHA or CNA certification is required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Experience caring for elderly or disabled individuals is preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene.
• Assist with mobility and prescribed exercises.
• Give medication reminders and oversee regimen.
• Offer companionship and meaningful activities.
• Prepare meals and snacks.
• Shop for groceries and run errands.
• Transport client to appointments and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and homemaking.
• Provide dementia/Alzheimer's care as needed.
• Assist with hospice care when applicable.
• Respond promptly in emergencies and support client safety.
