Guardian Angel Senior Services – Springfield, MA is seeking dedicated Live-In Caregivers to support elderly and disabled clients in their homes throughout Massachusetts. A CNA or HHA certification is required, with reliable, compassionate care and strong English communication skills.

The role includes personal care, mobility assistance, medication reminders, companionship, and light housekeeping. Live-in assignments range from 3 to 30 days, with a 24-hour schedule that emphasizes client safety

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

As a Live-In Caregiver, you will support your client with daily activities while providing companionship, safety, and a caring presence. Responsibilities may include:

• Personal care, including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Assistance with mobility and prescribed range-of-motion exercises
• Medication reminders and oversight
• Companionship, conversation, and meaningful activities
• Meal and snack preparation
• Grocery shopping and household errands
• Transportation to appointments and other activities
• Light housekeeping and homemaking
• Dementia and Alzheimer's care
• Hospice care
• Responding appropriately and promptly in emergency situations
• Supporting the client's overall comfort, safety, and well-being

Live-In Schedule

Live-In Caregivers remain in the client's home for the entire scheduled assignment. Assignments may range from 3 to 30 consecutive days, with the same schedule typically repeating each week.

Each 24-hour period is generally divided into:

• 13 hours allotted for providing care
• 8 hours allotted for sleep
• 3 hours allotted for personal time and breaks

Please note: You are expected to remain at the client's home throughout the scheduled 24-hour period, including sleep and personal-time hours.

What We're Looking For
