Job summary

BeWell Care at Home is seeking a Live-In Caregiver for a 24-hour in-home support role in Vernon, CT. The caregiver will have a private room, meals provided, and work a block schedule as part of a family-owned agency dedicated to dignity and comfort for clients aging in place.

Responsibilities include assisting with feeding, bathing, grooming, mobility, housekeeping, and planning nutritious meals, while following a well-curated care plan and communicating clearly with families and the care team.

Qualifications

• Must have two years of prior experience as a live-in caregiver/home health aide/PCA.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable and mindful of privacy in a client’s home.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Ability to work independently and follow a care plan.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and daily routines.
• Provide companionship and support to clients.
• Follow a care plan and maintain client safety.
• Coordinate with families and care team.
