Job summary
FCP Live-In is hiring Live-In Caregivers in Norwich, CT for per diem schedules to support elderly clients at home. Responsibilities include personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, ambulation, medication oversight, companionship, meal prep, shopping, errands, and light homemaking.
Room and board are provided on case, with 24/7 support for caregivers. Qualified CNAs, HHAs, or PCAs with health-screen clearance and background checks, and willingness to travel across CT, MA, RI, VT, NH, ME, and FL are
Qualifications
- You are a certified CNA, HHA, or PCA with elderly care experience.
- Successful clearance of health screens as required by state regulations.
- Successful clearance of state, federal and company background and reference checks.
- Must have flexible availability with the willingness to work across VT,NH,ME,CT,MA,RI and FL.
Responsibilities
- Personal hygiene, bathing, dressing.
- Ambulation assistance and help with prescribed range of motion exercises.
- Medication oversight and reminders.
- Companionship, socializing with the client, purposeful engagement, facilitating wellness.
- Cooking, meal and snack preparation.
- Shopping, errands, transportation to appointments.
- Light homemaking including Dementia/Alzheimer’s and Hospice care.
