Live-In Caregiver – 24-Hour In-Home

Job summary

BeWell Care at Home is a family-owned agency serving Connecticut. We seek a dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide compassionate in-home support, including feeding, bathing, grooming, and transfers, while respecting client privacy and dignity.

You’ll follow a family-directed care plan with on-call supervisor support 24/7 and have opportunities for paid continuing education and leadership tracks. Private room, meals, and competitive pay with overtime are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have two years of prior experience as a live-in caregiver as a home health aide, or PCA.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable and mindful of privacy in a client’s home.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Ability to work independently and follow a care plan.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with feeding, bathing, grooming, toileting, and transfers.
• Plan, prep, and serve nutritious meals; keep the home tidy with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Follow a well curated care plan structured by the family and the team.
• Chat, play games, accompany walks, and support social outings or errands.
• Maintain clear, respectful updates with loved ones and the care team.
