Job summary

ComForCare in Vernon, CT seeks an in-home caregiver to assist an elderly client with daily activities, personal care, mobility and meal preparation. You will help maintain independence and a safe home environment with compassionate support.

We value caregivers who show respect, provide companionship, and can work flexible day-time hours. Reliable transportation is preferred and you will receive ongoing training and field support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Passion to serve and help others live their best lives.
• Adhere to state regulated minimum requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent.
• Provide personal care assistance.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and ROM exercises.
• Plan and help with meals.
• Manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite for family.
