Job summary

CareDiem Home Care of Gurnee is seeking compassionate and skilled caregivers to help clients live safely at home. You will provide personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, and companionship.

Qualifications

• 1+ year caregiving experience preferred.
• CNA/HHA certification is a plus.
• Valid identification and work authorization required.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to clients including bathing and dressing.
• Assist with mobility and fall prevention.
• Prepare meals and maintain light housekeeping.
• Remind clients to take their medications.
• Offer companionship and safety supervision.
• Utilize care app for clocking in and documenting care.

• Mobility/transfers & fall prevention
• Meal prep & light housekeeping
• Medication reminders

• Use care app to clock in & out and document care

Requirements

• 1+ year caregiving experience (agency or senior living community)
• CNA/HHA preferred, but not required
• Valid ID, SSN, or work authorization
• TB test, background check, drug screen
• CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain)
• Reliable transportation preferred
• Comfortable with or willing to learn smartphone apps
