North Carolina A&T State University seeks an Assistant Director for Residential Experience Recruitment and Training to provide strategic leadership for student staff practices and supervise a portfolio of Residence Hall Directors and Graduate Assistants.

The role focuses on designing recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing staff development systems to enhance learning and wellbeing in a 24/7 residential environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and leadership experience.
• Experience supervising professional or graduate staff.
• Experience in recruitment, training, onboarding, and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for department-wide student staff practices.
• Supervise an assigned portfolio of Residence Hall Directors/Graduate Assistants.
• Design equitable systems for recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of residential staff.
• Serve as conduct officer for housing and residence life and adjudicate cases.
