Lehigh University is seeking an Assistant Director of Residence Life for a live-in role that oversees a residential area and leads a dedicated team of Gryphon student staff. You will mentor student leaders and implement Lehigh's bLUeprint curriculum to foster inclusive, thriving communities.

Responsibilities include supervision, curriculum oversight, crisis response, budget stewardship, and participation in on-call duty rotations.

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Higher Education/Student Affairs or equivalent
1–3 years related work experience
Strong supervision and leadership in residential setting
Sound judgment in crisis response and on-call situations
Commitment to inclusive residential communities
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Responsibilities

Provide direct supervision and development to Gryphon student staff, including regular supervisory meetings and performance feedback
Oversee implementation and refinement of educational and community development strategies (bLUeprint)
Assess learning goals and outcomes of curriculum strategies with five foundations for student success; identify and support students with concerns
Serve as an administrative hearing officer for Student Conduct and Community Expectations
Manage area budget and participate in duty rotation to respond to crises
Assist with recruitment, training, and development programs for Gryphons and address facilities concerns as needed
