The ideal candidate will manage night shifts, maintain a strong DMV record, and enforce DOT rules for Class A drivers while training catch crew forepersons and ensuring high-quality live haul practices across the team.

Qualifications

• Must have 5 years supervisory training or experience.
• Knowledge of poultry transportation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant work environment for all employees.
• Able to work night shifts with variable start/end times.
• Good DMV record.
• Able and willing to enforce all company policies.
• Understand DOT rules for Class A Drivers.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for determining work allocations and staffing decisions.
• Coordinate with farms, field personnel, truck shop, and plant personnel.
• Direct pickup and transport of chickens to the processing plant.
• Meet with catch crew leaders and assign duties to ensure timely, safe delivery to the plant.
• Hire and terminate employees; ensure safety and animal welfare standards.
