Job summary

AXS, a leading live entertainment company headquartered in Downtown Los Angeles, is seeking a Financial Settlement Specialist to join our finance team. You will ensure accurate and timely settlement of events through the AXS ticketing platform, collaborating with clients, venue partners, and internal teams.

The role requires advanced Excel skills, data reconciliation, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 2+ years experience in Accounting/Finance or Live Event/Ticketing.
• Proficient MS Excel, including pivot tables and macros.
• Creative problem solving.
• Ability to manage projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Effective customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of financial reconciliation processes.
• Familiarity with auditing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Run weekly revenue and liability reports from the AXS system.
• Assist with reconciliation and financial analysis projects.
• Coordinate with clients' finance teams for timely settlements.
• Calculate settlement amounts and fees to support payments.
• Provide client reports to support settlements and invoices.
• Audit client contracts' fee structures.
• Generate journal entries with the accounting team for GL support.
• Respond to client inquiries on settlement and finance issues.
