Job summary

LSS Universal is seeking a Production Assistant to support executive producers and the production team in live events across multiple venues. You will help develop and execute concerts, comedy shows, and stage plays, coordinating schedules and communications.

The role requires strong organizational skills, multitasking ability, and willingness to learn; there is frequent collaboration with venue contacts, vendors, and staff across departments.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience as a student, volunteer, stage manager or in other production role.
• Highly proficient with word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and teamwork.
• Comfortable with occasional public speaking.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to rapid changes.
• Working knowledge of theatrical, film, and/or production procedures and practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the annual Production Calendar and schedules.
• Assist with creation, distribution, and management of production-related contracts.
• Create rehearsal schedules and timelines for performances.
• Communicate accurate information about productions to staff to manage responsibilities.
• Research potential venues and maintain a venue database in the staff portal.
• Research local, regional, national, and international entertainers.
• Assist with the creation of production expense budgets for performance events.
