Job summary

AEG Presents in Denver is seeking a Stagehand responsible for all setup before, during, and after events, including assembling and disassembling production equipment on stage, and assisting carpenters with scenery build, installation, video, sound and light production.

You will load and unload equipment, set up according to stage design, move scenery and props, work with electricians and lighting crews, lift up to 50 pounds, take direction, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum education level of High School Diploma or its equivalency.
• A minimum of 1–2 years of related work experience.
• Previous experience with manual labor preferred.
• Forklift and heavy machinery certified ideal, but not required.
• Must be able to take direction and execute instructions accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and set up at the beginning of the scene (props, microphones, instruments, scenery).
• Disassemble and remove equipment at the end of the scene and clean up stage/backstage.
• Load and unload equipment from trucks and set up per design while meeting safety requirements.
• Assist carpenters with scenery build and installation of stage maintenance; move and rearrange set pieces.
