Job summary

AEG Presents is seeking a stagehand to perform setup before, during, and after events, assembling and disassembling production equipment on stage and supporting scenery, video, sound, and lighting teams.

You will work with carpenters, electricians, and stage crew in a fast-paced venue environment; 0-2 years experience preferred; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; part-time role with potential benefits.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of related work experience.
• Previous experience with manual labor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and set up at the beginning of the scene (props, microphones, instruments, scenery).
• Disassemble and remove equipment after performances and clean up stage/backstage.
• Load/unload equipment from trucks and set up per stage design with safety in mind.
• Assist carpenters with scenery build and installation, move furniture, and maintain set pieces.
• Coordinate with electricians and lighting staff on video, sound, and light production.
