Job summary

AEG Presents is seeking a stagehand to perform setup before, during, and after events, assembling and disassembling production equipment on stage. The role includes assisting carpenters with scenery build, installation, video, sound and light production.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of related work experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A valid driver’s license and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are also needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalency.
• 1–2 years of related work experience.
• Manual labor experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to take direction and execute instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and set up at the beginning of the scene, and disassemble and remove equipment at the end of the scene.
• Load and unload equipment from trucks and set up according to stage design while ensuring safety.
• Assist carpenters with scenery build and installation, and support video, sound and light production.
• Collaborate with electricians and lighting staff to maintain equipment and ensure systems operate correctly.
