Job summary

Legends Global at Huntington Place Detroit is seeking a detail-oriented Event Operations Crew Member (Part-Time) to assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces. Under a Shift Supervisor, you will handle meeting rooms, exhibit halls, ballrooms, and other venues to meet client specifications.

The role requires physical capability, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience in hospitality or events is preferred, with onsite work in Detroit, Michigan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of facility, hospitality, or event-related experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints/floorplans.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down meeting rooms, exhibit halls, ballrooms, and event spaces.
• Operate forklifts, material handling carts, scissor lifts and boom lifts; ensure safe use of equipment.
• Maintain equipment and work areas; ensure operational readiness.
• Collaborate with team members to execute event setups per plan.
• Follow safety standards and departmental procedures.
