Job summary

Insomniac is seeking a highly motivated Production Runner to support the Back of House team during live events. This on-site, non-remote position reports to the Back of House Manager and requires great organization, a willingness to work long hours, and the ability to move quickly between tasks.

Responsibilities include transportation coordination for personnel, running errands, managing equipment and cash, and providing local area information to touring staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver\'s license with a good driving record and fully insured.
• Safe driving habits are a must.
• Operational cell phone.
• Friendly and personable, works well with others but also able to work independently.
• Punctual, reliable, responsible, professional and courteous.
• Able to work a long day (typical show day runs anywhere to 10 to 18 hours).
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for personnel during show days using personal or company vehicle.
• Run errands including meals, laundry, groceries, packages, equipment rentals and coffee runs.
• Coordinate large take-out orders with local restaurants and distribute to touring personnel.
• Assist production staff with general production-related duties.
• Maintain cash and receipts for expense reimbursements and reconciliation.
• Provide local area information to touring staff.
