Job summary

Grand Canyon University seeks a talented Graphics and Production Specialist to support events and campus productions. You will design motion and still graphics, operate control room equipment, and collaborate with event organizers to deliver project-specific graphics packages.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5 years in a control room or broadcast setting, plus 5 years designing graphics and working in production. Must pass background check.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5 years’ experience in control room or broadcast environment.
• 5 years’ demonstrated experience designing still and motion graphics.
• 5 years’ demonstrated experience in a production environment.
• 5 years’ demonstrated experience with signal flow methodology for control room operations.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be substituted.
• Experience with virtual event coordination and live operations.
• Must pass pre-employment background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Produce motion and still graphics for events such as sports, stage productions, and events using video/digital boards on campus.
• Operate graphics delivery systems, video switchers, replay systems, and cameras in the control room.
• Develop event-specific graphics packages and assist with production design, setup and deployment.
• Support graphics and production operations as directed by the department head.
• Other duties as assigned.
