Job summary

LMG in Columbia, MD is seeking a detail-oriented events coordinator to build and optimize technician schedules, source freelance labor, and coordinate travel and on-site logistics for live productions.

You will partner with project teams, manage availability data, communicate with technicians and vendors, and ensure staffing aligns with event timelines from pre-production through execution.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize technician schedules based on project requirements and availability.
• Source and coordinate freelance contract labor when project needs require additional support.
• Negotiate freelance labor rates within established guidelines.
• Maintain resource data including technician proficiencies and availability records.
• Coordinate travel arrangements for technicians and related personnel.
• Review event quotes and database reports for accuracy.
• Communicate scheduling information with stakeholders and resolve conflicts.
