Job summary

Snake Oil Cocktail Company in San Diego, CA seeks a Facilities Technician to keep the venue's facility systems, catering equipment, and assets operating safely and reliably.

This hands-on role blends preventative maintenance with rapid repairs, inventory control, and meticulous documentation. You will collaborate with leadership to schedule maintenance, procure parts, and support seamless event execution in a live venue environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in commercial facility maintenance or related trade.
• Experience in fast-paced, hospitality or live-venue environments preferred.
• Basic to intermediate digital tool literacy including CMMS.
• Experience with catering equipment, refrigeration, plumbing, or electrical systems preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on venue facility systems and catering gear.
• Disassemble, repair, and reinstall equipment components as needed.
• Lubricate machinery to ensure smooth operation.
• Log inspections and report damaged or worn equipment.
• Procure parts and install replacements.
• Diagnose root causes of equipment failures quickly.
• Coordinate emergency and routine repairs for venue assets.
• Document work orders and maintenance logs.
• Maintain shop organization and inventory.
• Schedule maintenance windows to minimize disruption.
• Collaborate with leadership on new equipment integration.
• Test modifications and adjust as needed.
