Legends is seeking a Concessions Cook for The Meadows Amphitheater in Hartford, CT. This part-time position focuses on preparing and cooking foods to high standards, while maintaining sanitation and proper temperatures.

The role requires teamwork, reliability and the ability to handle a fast-paced workflow during events. Responsibilities include assuring food quality, labeling and dating products, rotating stock, and assisting other positions as needed.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ experience in food preparation in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to interact verbally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Ability to follow written and oral directions.
• Ability to work under pressure and independently.
• Practice safe work habits and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items to high quality taste and appearance.
• Observe health and sanitation procedures and maintain proper temperatures.
• Label, rotate, and date products; keep areas clean and organized.
• Assist with restocking of supplies and other positions as needed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and work multiple stations if required.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
