Job summary

Gateway Studios & Production Services in Missouri is seeking a skilled Carpenter / Case Builder to contribute to live event fabrication projects.

You will assist with layout, assemble and finish set pieces and road cases, working with wood, metal, plastics and paints under supervision. This role reports to the Fabrication Supervisor and requires attention to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of shop experience.
• Familiar with power tools and cutting equipment in a carpentry shop.
• Ability to read cut sheets, layouts and fabrication prints.
• Strong carpentry experience with various materials.
• Understanding of shop safety terminology.

Responsibilities

• Operate all power tools as required.
• Layout, assemble, and finish fabrication projects with the shop team.
• Read drawings to create fabrication pieces.
• Load and unload trucks as needed.
• Maintain quality and safety standards in all work.
