Job summary

Salem Sports, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Carpenter to build and assemble wood components for events, installations, and experiential environments.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to adapt as project priorities change. You will operate woodworking equipment, hand tools, and power tools to cut, assemble, modify, and repair materials according to specifications.

Qualifications

• Ability to read measurements and blueprints for wood structures.
• Ability to set up and operate machines like table saws, chop saws, drill presses, routers.
• Ability to bolt, rivet, screw, clip, caulk, or bond components to assemble products.
• Excellent attention to detail and meticulous workmanship.
• Must be flexible, a good team player, and willing to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut or shape wood, plastic, or other materials.
• Layout, cut and assemble a variety of wood components.
• Operate a variety of woodworking machines and hand/power tools.
• Assemble finished units with dowels, nails, screws, and clamps.
• Install hardware and complete furniture components as specified.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and productivity in the shop.
