Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Technical Services Assistant for the Tucson Convention Center in Tucson, AZ. You will support day-to-day technical operations across audio, lighting, video, and control room equipment for events, concerts, and presentations.

Under supervision you will assist with staging, rigging, and setup, perform checks, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure safety and reliability of all AV systems. Weekend and holiday shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years technical AV experience.
• Knowledge of fly rail systems and lighting consoles.

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-stage activities before, during and after performances.
• Hang, focus lights, assemble staging and sound systems.
• Operate audio, lighting and Daktronics video systems.
• Assist with lighting and sound checks for efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure in-house lighting and sound equipment is in proper working order and inspect systems.
• Maintain clean and orderly areas; follow safety procedures.
• Be prepared to assist staff with IT-related problems when called upon.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
