Job summary

Destination El Paso, proudly managed by Legends Global, is seeking a Part-time Production Technician to support venues with audio, video, lighting and special effects equipment. You will assist with setup, operation, maintenance, and teardown for events at The El Paso Convention Center and other venues managed by Destination El Paso/ASM Global.

The role requires basic knowledge of AV systems and the ability to follow safety procedures; flexibility to work events, including evenings and weekends,

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with audio, video and lighting systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor facility technical inventory.
• Read and interpret equipment performance charts and control equipment.
• Investigate, analyze and resolve operational and maintenance problems; develop preventive maintenance for facility electronic equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of procedures, techniques, and tools used in AV systems.
• Understand event-related services and technical requirements for the facility.
