Job summary

All Access Staging & Productions, Inc. in Torrance, CA is seeking an Automation Technician to prepare, maintain, troubleshoot, and operate automation and staging equipment for live entertainment productions.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, safety consciousness, and the ability to work independently or in a team. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with eligibility for PTO, health insurance, and a 401(k) after waiting periods.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and operating automation & staging equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Safety-conscious with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and test automation equipment.
• Prepare equipment for tours and events.
• Install, operate, and support automation systems at client sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Collaborate with project management and production teams.
• Lead shop preparations and load-ins/load-outs.
• Adhere to safety policies and required training.
• Maintain inventory and equipment readiness.
