Job summary

iHeartMedia, a leader in American audio, seeks a Board Operator in Louisville, KY. You will ensure broadcasts run smoothly, load content, and respond to issues quickly to keep programs accurate and compliant.

You’ll work with producers and talent, monitor FCC requirements, and support remote broadcasts and live events as needed. A high school diploma and the ability to work nights, weekends, or holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Strong technical aptitude with broadcast equipment and automation systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate broadcast console and studio equipment during live and pre-recorded shows.
• Monitor on-air programming for quality, timing, and FCC compliance.
• Coordinate with talent, producers, and traffic teams for smooth transitions and ads.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in real time and escalate as needed.
• Record, edit, and load audio content using automation systems.
• Maintain logs and documentation for regulatory and internal compliance.
• Support remote broadcasts and live events as needed.
