Job summary

iHeartMedia in Louisville, KY is seeking a Board Operator to ensure broadcasts run smoothly and sound great. You will operate the broadcast console during live and pre-recorded shows, monitor FCC compliance, coordinate with talent and traffic teams, troubleshoot issues in real time, and load audio content using automation systems.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with NexGen or similar systems, strong detail orientation, and the ability to work nights, weekends, or holidays.

What You'll Do
  • Operate broadcast console and studio equipment during live and pre-recorded shows.

What You'll Need
  • Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with broadcast equipment and automation systems (e.g., NexGen, Adobe Audition).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or coursework a plus.
