Job summary

iHeartMedia in Pembroke Pines, FL is seeking a part-time Board Operator to keep live broadcasts running smoothly, ensure audio quality, and support live events. You will operate the broadcast console, monitor programs for FCC compliance, and coordinate with talent, producers, and traffic teams to place commercials accurately.

You’ll troubleshoot issues in real time, load content with automation systems, maintain logs, and assist with remote broadcasts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with broadcast equipment and automation systems.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate broadcast console and studio equipment during live and pre-recorded shows.
• Monitor on-air programming for quality, timing, and FCC compliance.
• Coordinate with talent, producers, and traffic teams for smooth transitions and accurate ads.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in real time and escalate when needed.
• Record, edit, and load audio content for playback using automation systems.
• Maintain logs and documentation for regulatory and internal compliance.
• Support remote broadcasts and live events as needed.
