Job summary

iHeartMedia in Pembroke Pines, FL seeks a part-time Board Operator to ensure smooth broadcasts and high-quality sound. You will operate the studio console, monitor on-air programming, and coordinate with talent and traffic teams for precise commercial placement.

Responsibilities include real-time troubleshooting, loading audio content, and maintaining compliance records. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Requires strong technical aptitude with broadcast equipment and automation systems (NexGen, Adobe Audition).
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate broadcast console and studio equipment during live and pre-recorded shows.
• Monitor on-air programming for quality, timing, and FCC compliance.
• Coordinate with talent, producers, and traffic teams to ensure smooth transitions and accurate commercial placement.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in real time and escalate as needed.
• Record, edit, and load audio content for playback using automation systems.
• Maintain logs and documentation for regulatory and internal compliance.
• Support remote broadcasts and live events as needed.
