Amtex Insurance & Constitution General Agency LLC in Texas is seeking a Litigation Supervisor to oversee the daily management of litigated claims, guiding Examiners and coordinating with defense counsel to ensure timely, accurate resolutions.

The role requires leadership, strong knowledge of liability, negotiations, and reserving, with a focus on high-exposure matters and ensuring compliance. Experience with bodily injury or auto litigation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Adjuster License or ability to obtain one.
• 5+ years of claims experience, preferably in bodily injury and/or litigated auto claims.
• Strong knowledge of liability, damages, negotiations, litigation, and reserving.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the litigation inventory and ensure timely suit referrals, deadlines, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Monitor complex, aging, and high-exposure claims and elevate significant issues to Claims Management.
• Review liability, damages, coverage, reserves, evaluations, and settlement strategies.
• Guide examiners on litigation strategy, negotiations, and claim resolution.
• Manage relationships and performance of defense counsel.
• Conduct file reviews to ensure accurate documentation, compliance, and proper claim handling.
• Monitor reserves and exposure and ensure updates are made following significant claim developments.
• Ensure files are prepared for mediations and trials.
• Provide daily leadership, coaching, training, and performance management to Litigation Examiners.
• Monitor inventory, deadlines, settlement opportunities, counsel reporting, and examiner activities.
• Promote accountability, productivity, professional communication, and timely claim resolution.
