Job summary

Amtex Insurance & Constitution General Agency LLC in Houston, TX, is seeking a Litigation Supervisor to oversee the daily management of litigated claims, provide leadership to Litigation Examiners, and ensure timely, accurate, and compliant claim handling.

The role includes managing defense counsel, litigation expenses, reserves, settlements, mediations, trials, and high-exposure matters, while coaching staff and driving performance.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Adjuster License or ability to obtain one.
• At least 5 years claims experience, preferably in bodily injury/litigated auto.
• Strong knowledge of liability, damages, negotiations, and reserving.
• Excellent communication and organization skills; able to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the litigation inventory, deadlines, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Monitor complex, aging, and high-exposure claims and escalate significant issues to Claims Management.
• Review liability, damages, reserves, evaluations, and settlement strategies.
• Guide examiners on litigation strategy, negotiations, and claim resolution.
• Manage relationships and performance of defense counsel.
• Ensure files are prepared for mediations and trials.
• Provide daily leadership, coaching, training, and performance management to Litigation Examiners.
• Monitor counsel reporting and examiner activities.
