Job summary

DLA Piper’s Litigation group invites exceptional law students to join its summer program in multiple offices, including Baltimore. The program supports 1L (2027 summer) or 2L (2028 summer) candidates with tailored experiences on trials, appeals, and counseling, plus pro bono opportunities and robust training.

A team will provide feedback, and networking through social events is encouraged. Ideal candidates show interest in litigation; Law Review or Moot Court is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, verbal and written, with clients and colleagues.
• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence in a timely manner.
• Meet deadlines and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Foster positive work relationships and comply with firm policies.

Responsibilities

• Work on trials, appeals, and related counseling with a legal team.
• Engage in pro bono opportunities and training provided during the program.
• Receive feedback from assigned teams to develop litigation skills.
• Build your network through social events during the 10-week program.
