Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is hiring a floater to train and support several attorneys and staff on rotation. This role trains for a future move to a litigation position and offers hands‑on exposure in a fast-paced law firm environment.

The position is on-site, with initial pay of $20.00 per hour during training and a December 7, 2026 start date. You will work closely with the team to develop practical skills in pleadings, investigations, and settlement preparation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-2 years in an Administrative Assistant, Receptionist, or Support role is preferred in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Strong organization, multitasking, and detail orientation with a positive attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate with many teammates; proficient typing and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Shadow litigation paralegals to learn daily workflows.
• Gather and analyze information related to injury claims.
• Investigate case facts and develop understanding of matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents for court filing.
• Prepare documents and correspondence to reach settlements.

Summary

This role will work as a floater in our office, training and supporting several attorneys and case staff on rotation. This position trains for an eventual move to a highly sought Litigation position.

Pay is $20.00 p/h while in training

Start date: Ideally December 7th, 2026

Responsibilities

• Shadow Litigation Paralegals
• Gather and analyze relevant information pertaining to the injury claims
• Investigate the nature and facts of cases
• Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents to file with the court
• Prepare documents and correspondence necessary to reach a settlement in each case

Qualification

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Receptionist, or Support Role preferably in a law firm setting or in a corporate legal department
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and demonstrate attention to detail with a great attitude
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including good presentation skills
• Willingness to learn and work with multiple employees within our organization
• Extensive expertise in computer programs, databases, Microsoft Office Suite, and type no less than 35 wpm

This role is on-site, which gives you the chance to be fully immersed in the work and gain direct experience alongside the team
