Job summary

Morgan & Morgan seeks a floater paralegal for the Nashville office to train and support several attorneys and staff on rotation, with an eventual move to a Litigation Paralegal position. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years in Administrative Assistant, Receptionist, or Support role in or related to a law firm preferred.
• Highly organized with ability to multitask, prioritize and maintain attention to detail with a positive attitude.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate with multiple employees within the organization.
• Extensive experience with computer programs, databases, Microsoft Office Suite, and typing at least 35 wpm.
• Remote and/or hybrid work is not eligible.

Summary

This role will work as a floater in our office, training and supporting several attorneys and case staff on rotation. This position trains for an eventual move to a highly sought Litigation Paralegal position.

The compensation for this role is $20/hour and provides growth opportunities.

Successful candidates will be responsible for areas including but not limited to the following:

• Gather and analyze relevant information pertaining to the injury claims
• Investigate the nature and facts of cases
• Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents to file with the court
• Prepare documents and correspondence necessary to reach a settlement in each case

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Receptionist, or Support Role preferably in a law firm setting or in a corporate legal department
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and demonstrate attention to detail with a great attitude
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including good presentation skills
• Willingness to learn and work with multiple employees within our organization
• Extensive expertise in computer programs, databases, Microsoft Office Suite, and type no less than 35 wpm
• Remote and/or hybrid not eligible
