Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. in Atlanta, GA, is hiring an entry-level Litigation Staff in Training to rotate and support several attorneys. The role trains toward a future litigation position and pays $20.00 per hour during training.

On-site work offers direct exposure to the team and case flow. As a floater, you will shadow paralegals, gather information, draft documents, and help prepare settlements while developing essential legal support skills and familiarity with injury claims process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years experience as Administrative Assistant, Receptionist, or Support Role, preferably in a law firm.
• Highly organized with ability to multitask, prioritize, and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including good presentation.
• Willingness to learn and work with multiple employees in the organization.
• Extensive expertise in computer programs, databases, Microsoft Office Suite, and typing 35+ wpm.

Summary

This role will work as a floater in our office, training and supporting several attorneys and case staff on rotation. This position trains for an eventual move to a highly sought Litigation position.

Pay is $20.00 p/h while in training

Responsibilities

• Shadow Litigation Paralegals
• Gather and analyze relevant information pertaining to the injury claims
• Investigate the nature and facts of cases
• Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents to file with the court
• Prepare documents and correspondence necessary to reach a settlement in each case

Qualification

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Receptionist, or Support Role preferably in a law firm setting or in a corporate legal department
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and demonstrate attention to detail with a great attitude
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including good presentation skills
• Willingness to learn and work with multiple employees within our organization
• Extensive expertise in computer programs, databases, Microsoft Office Suite, and type no less than 35 wpm

This role is on-site, which gives you the chance to be fully immersed in the work and gain direct experience alongside the team
