DLA Piper is seeking a BD & Marketing Specialist to support the firm’s business development and marketing initiatives. You will work with BD managers, lawyers, and cross-functional colleagues to drive client outreach, showcase capabilities, and execute day-to-day marketing activities.

The role emphasizes detailed organization, collaboration, and a client-focused team culture while contributing to pitches, proposals, and marketing collateral across multiple offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field is required.
• 3 years’ experience in marketing and/or business development in a professional services environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential; ability to collaborate with attorneys and teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with execution of marketing and BD initiatives to support practice group goals.
• Summarize competitive intelligence for client-driven or market-driven initiatives.
• Prepare client-facing materials, presentations, and marketing collateral.
• Collaborate with BD team members and lawyers on pitches, proposals, and credentials.
• Update and maintain CRM records, track business development activity, pull reports or dashboards.
• Gather content and coordinate timelines for directories and awards submissions.
• Provide logistical support for client events, webinars, and sponsorships.
• Coordinate with design, communications, and digital teams to ensure on-brand materials delivered on time.
