Jobot, a Texas-based, full-service business law firm, is seeking a dynamic Litigation Partner to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a JD, bar admission, at least 6 years of litigation experience, and a portable book of business of $350k+; responsibilities include driving strategy, managing depositions, and developing client relationships.

Qualifications

• A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar.
• A minimum of 6 years of litigation experience, with portable book of business ($350k+).

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Handling all aspects of business/commercial litigation cases from inception through resolution.
• Conducting depositions, drafting pleadings, and arguing motions.
• Collaborating with other members of the litigation team to develop case strategies.
• Leveraging your expertise in business development to attract new clients, retain existing ones, and expand the firm's reach.
• Mentoring and guiding junior attorneys and other staff members.
• Keeping abreast of changes in law and informing the team of any updates that could impact our clients.
• Representing the firm at industry events and conferences, positioning us as a leader in the field.
