Job summary

Oculus Group's Premier Legal division is partnering with an established, growing full-service law firm to launch and lead a new Los Angeles office. This is a rare opportunity for an entrepreneurial Litigation Partner, solo practitioner, or small group to establish a thriving presence in a top market.

You will grow the practice by serving existing clients, developing new relationships, and collaborating with colleagues across the firm.

Litigation Partner / Office Managing Partner

Oculus Group's Premier Legal division is partnering with an established, growing full-service law firm seeking an entrepreneurial Litigation Partner, solo practitioner, or small group of attorneys to help launch and lead its new Los Angeles office.

This opportunity for a partner or group will have an exciting opportunity to continue growing their existing practice while leveraging the resources, relationships, and collaborative environment of a broader legal platform.

The Opportunity

You’ll play a meaningful role in establishing the firm’s Los Angeles presence, including:

• Leading the development and growth of a new Los Angeles office.
• Continuing to service and expand your existing client relationships.
• Collaborating with attorneys across the firm’s established practice groups.
• Handling additional litigation matters originating from existing firm clients and offices.
• Participating in strategic planning, attorney recruitment, and business development.
• Developing new client relationships and cross-practice opportunities.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome confidential conversations with established Litigation Partners, entrepreneurial Solo Practitioners, and Small Law Firms who bring:

• Significant commercial litigation experience or a complementary practice with strong litigation capabilities.
• An established client base and portable book of business, ideally $500K+ for an individual attorney.
• Active California Bar admission and substantial California practice experience.
• The ability and availability to support litigation matters referred through the firm’s existing offices.
• Demonstrated business development experience.
• An entrepreneurial approach and genuine interest in building and leading a new office.
