Jobot is seeking a dynamic Litigation Partner in Texas to join our prestigious law firm. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of winning cases, a portable book of business, and the ability to generate new opportunities while strengthening client relationships from day one.

You will manage all aspects of business and commercial litigation, mentor junior attorneys, coordinate strategy with the team, and represent the firm at industry events.

Qualifications

• A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar.
• A minimum of 6 years of litigation experience, with portable book of business ($350k+).
• Extensive experience with depositions and a strong track record of successful outcomes.
• Proven business development skills, with the ability to attract and retain clients.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• A strategic thinker, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A self-starter, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A commitment to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Handling all aspects of business/commercial litigation cases from inception through resolution.
• Conducting depositions, drafting pleadings, and arguing motions.
• Collaborating with other members of the litigation team to develop case strategies.
• Leveraging your expertise in business development to attract new clients, retain existing ones, and expand the firm's reach.
• Mentoring and guiding junior attorneys and other staff members.
• Keeping abreast of changes in law and informing the team of any updates that could impact our clients.
