Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP in Dallas is actively recruiting a Litigation Paralegal to assist lawyers and timekeepers with preparation of complex legal documents, mid-level legal research, and other tasks across the firm’s litigation practice areas.

The role provides leadership in supporting firm initiatives and in alignment with management directives, requiring strong organizational skills, reliability under pressure, and the ability to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of paralegal or related business experience.
• Four or more years preferred; appellate experience preferred.
• Compliance with Firm in-office policy; intermediate knowledge of Federal, State and Local Rules.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes mid-level understanding of regulatory, administrative, and/or court service requirements to complete routine legal filings, E‑Filing, and/or communications with court representatives.
• Identifies relevant laws, decisions, and materials; analyzes information and prepares written reports for lawyers.
• Compiles data from reference materials and conducts inquiries to obtain information for the firm’s practice.
• Drafts correspondence, memoranda, and basic documents related to case substance.
• Coordinates and conducts routine document reviews for discovery, trial, and regulatory hearings.
• Uses firm-supported technology tools and cite checking.
• Performs non-billable firm projects including file transfers and pro bono initiatives.
• Performs special projects as assigned.
