Job summary

Harris, Karstaedt, Jamison & Powers, P.C. in Denver's DTC area seeks a litigation paralegal with a minimum of five years’ experience and a paralegal certificate or degree.

The firm offers a competitive salary ($62,000–$70,000) and comprehensive benefits, with a possibility of part-time arrangement. Responsibilities include organizing case records, assisting with trial prep, interviewing clients and witnesses, drafting pleadings, and managing calendars.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience.
• Excellent PC and document organization skills.
• Working knowledge of Word, Windows 11, Outlook.
• Familiar with LexWorkplace or another document management system and Law Tool Box or other docketing software.
• Ability to prioritize work and strong communication skills.
• Part-time arrangements may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Organize records, documents, and correspondence into a manageable format.
• Assist in trial preparation through analysis and review of cases.
• Contact and interview clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Assist attorneys in research, drafting pleadings, and discovery requests under supervision.
• Schedule and calendar attorney meetings, deadlines, and depositions.
• Track requests for documents and verify receipt of records.
• Adhere to ethical requirements per applicable professional conduct rules.
• Record billable and non-billable time spent on files.
