Job summary

The Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates, PC is seeking a dedicated Litigation Paralegal to join our Phoenix, AZ office. The ideal candidate will have completed a paralegal program and at least 2 years of experience supporting attorneys in trial preparation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial practice.

This full-time, on-site role requires knowledge of court rules, strong writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Paralegal program or Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies; Bachelor's in addition to Paralegal studies preferred.
• 2+ years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in Personal Injury or Employment litigation.
• Knowledge of California Civil Code of Procedure, California Rules of Court, Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure, and Arizona Court Rules.
• Exceptional writing and analytical capabilities.
• Knowledge of calendaring requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests, subpoenas, and other case management documents.
• Manage discovery, organize and review documents, coordinate responses with clients.
• Prepare and file legal documents with court, meet deadlines and follow court rules.
• Maintain professional communication with court personnel and opposing counsel.
• Organize and maintain case files and evidence.
